You Deserve Our Praise

You Deserve Our Praise

God deserves our praise, worship and honor. As we offer ourselves in holy surrender to Him who sits on the throne, we lift up our praise to Him. This reminds me of a study I did from the book of Revelation about heaven praising God.

Throne Room Praise – From the Book of Revelation

Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come. (4:8b)

Worthy art You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will, they existed, and were created. (4:11)

Worthy art You to take the book, and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. And You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth. (5:9-10)

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing. (5:12)

To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever. (5:13)

Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb. (7:10b)

Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen. (7:12)

Give praise to our God, all you His bondservants, you who fear Him, the small and the great. (19:5b)

Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. (19:6b)

May we give God the glory, honor and praise He deserves as we live surrendered lives to Him. May we be a sweet fragrant aroma in His nostrils and delight His heart today.

  1. I can’t read those words without having the choir sing them in my head…I’m bad at remembering song titles, but I think it’s from the Messiah ;). May I praise him more and myself less.

  2. Praise God! Yes! NASB1995! Yes! Praising God is so powerful! Sometimes I join the birds in the morning in their praise to Him. Such a wonderful God we serve and Yes and Amen, He deserves ALL the praise! Blessings on your day!
