Our soul longs for access to God, but our mind questions, “How do we gain access to the Living God?”
Our heart cries out to God for Him to reveal Himself to us. The answer of the Living God is that we have access to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
“Therefore, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus…let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” ~Hebrews 10:19, 22 NASB
“In Him [Jesus Christ] we have redemption [that is, our deliverance and salvation] through His blood, [which paid the penalty for our sin and resulted in] the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin, in accordance with the riches of His grace which He lavished on us.” ~Ephesians 1:7-8a AMP
The Blood of Jesus was poured out on the Cross for my sins and for your sins, and because Jesus paid the price for our sins, we have access to the Living God, our heavenly Father.
“For it is through Him [Jesus] that we both have a [direct] way of approach in one Spirit to the Father.” ~Ephesians 2:18 AMP
“In Him [Christ Jesus our Lord] we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in Him.” ~Ephesians 3:12 WEB
Jesus is the only Way, Truth and Life; we must come the narrow of way of Jesus to enter into eternal life.
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” ~John 14:6 NASB
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” ~Matthew 7:13-14 NASB
We all have the same opportunity for access to God through His Son, Jesus Christ. If we call upon His Name, He will respond.
“It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord, will be saved.” ~Acts 2:21 WEB
“For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved.” ~Romans 10:13 AMPC

Proud of that? Well, dude, just stop,
and then let your heart take the leap
to a place of clarity
that shines a light through all your space,
and then accept the charity
(what most Christians would call Grace)
that your debt is paid and done
through the blood of God’s own Son.

I Love that Jesus went behind the veil purchasing access for us to enter as sons. We now have free access to the Throne of God to find help and grace in time of need! Amen!

Powerful piece, Lisa. Our one and only access to God is through Jesus and His blood. Sometimes we just need to get back to the basics of our faith and this is one of those foundational truths.
