He gives strength to the weary, and to the one who lacks might He increases power.
Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly,
Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:29-31 NASB
Recover means to regain. We can regain our health, our strength, our home, our household goods, our relationships with people, our work, or our relationship with God.
We can trust Him with our health. We can trust Him with our family and our relationships. We can trust Him with our home and personal property. We can trust Him with our work, provision and needs. We can trust Him with our very lives. Whatever needs to be recovered in our lives, He can help us recover it.
I am so thankful that the Lord gives us strength and power. No matter what relationship or situation we are contending for, He is our Refuge and Deliverer, our strength and our hope. We can look to Him and find help.
Prayer:
Lord, we are so thankful that You never leave us and You never forsake us. Thank You for being Faithful and True to us. We submit our needs to You and thank You for strengthening us and helping us to recover everything lost, for helping us regain our strength and hope, and for helping to restore our spirit, our soul, and our body. You are our hope and we put our trust in You. We receive Your grace, Your peace, Your love and Your restoration. Amen.
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ (Isaiah 41:13)
