  1. Laugh because there’s humour here,
    laugh because you can,
    laugh when naught’s remotely clear,
    laugh and be a man,
    for tears are province of the weak,
    they set the feet in glue;
    banish them if what you seek’s
    the best version of you.
    Laugh when people look askance,
    and say you have a heart of stone.
    Spare them not a backwards glance,
    be glad to laugh alone,
    for alone we travel fast,
    and who laughs first is who laughs last.

    Cancer’s taught me much. For the better, or for the worse?

    1. Cancer is a hard task master, Andrew! But I think it does act as sandpaper that smooths the rough places and helps us reflect Him – like a polished stone with a mirror like surface.

    1. Laughter does make a huge difference, Dee! I just read a book that scientifically proved laughter and a positive attitude help a patient recover.

  2. Thanks for all the verses this morning with my empty tea cup! You filled my cup! Heart of God, Love of His Word. You show this!

  4. Oh how I love to laugh. I’m so easily amused too. I’m 51 and will still occasionally stomp in a rain puddle. Lol. Your message was invigorating today.
    Thanks bunches for sharing this with Sweet Tea & Friends this month.
