Sickness, disease, infirmity. I want to hide from this disease. Covid is not for the faint of heart. Yet, as I spend hours and hours listening to the Amplified Audio-Bible, I’m comforted by His Word.
His Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. ~Psalm 119:105 WEB
As my plans for the week turn from productivity to getting well, I’m comforted by His Presence.
O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O Lord, You know it all. You have enclosed me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is too high, I cannot attain to it. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, and the light around me will be night,” even the darkness is not dark to You, and the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You. ~Psalm 139:1-7, 11 NASB
I’m thankful Lord to be in the Light of Your Love. Your peace guards my heart and mind. I choose to live in Your marvelous Love and guarding Peace today.

Covid’s not an easy read; I’m fact, it’s quite the bear
when you find you really need a lot (a LOT) more air,
and that is where the Lord comes in(He hastens to arrive!),
for when the situation’s grim and it seems you won’t survive,
that is when He shelters you, and shields your eyes from what’s ahead,
and reminds you that His words are true, think only of your daily bread
and leave tomorrow in His hands for He’s the One who makes the plans.
I’m so thankful that we can trust Him in sickness and in health, Andrew. He is Faithful and True.
Lovely, honest writing Lisa. May the breath of His Holy Spirit fill and heal your lungs, and may He continue to heal you as you wait upon Him.
Thank you, Heather!
So encouraging to remember that God sees us and he is with us! I hope you feel better soon.
